The Powerful In Between

Today’s message is as raw and real as you can get….

Today’s message is for the Season of the In-Between

That feeling right before you shift into another season. Another chapter. Another version of yourself.

I think sometimes we mistake this space we are in as a “slump” or a “plateau”. But what if we viewed it as a chance to fully embody where we are before stepping into something new?

It took a minute for me to feel around in this theme before putting words to this week’s email because I had this worry that, for the first time in six weeks of sharing these emails, I didn’t know what I was going to say.

Truthfully, I am feeling rather uninspired. But rather than writing it off, I leaned in. What can I learn from this?

And what if we approached this kind of feeling with curiosity instead of negativity? What if we just appreciate the in-between as a rest or reset? Our bodies can’t perform at 100% all the time, so why should we expect our minds to also?

It’s going to be uncomfortable because we are conditioned to constantly create and have a constant stream of energy output. But it’s not sustainable. Neither are the expectations that you hold of yourself, too.

Because I don’t know about you, but sometimes (let’s be real, most times), I hold myself to a much higher standard than I would expect of anyone else.

So, what if we just let those standards go and talked to ourselves like we would talk to a good friend.

What I hope you take away from today’s Monday Minute is simple…

Lean into the in-between.

You might find magic or you might find uninspriation (is that even a word?). Either way, lean in with curiosity and see where that feeling takes you.

Chances are, it’s leading you to your next season. So buckle up, buttercup, we are moving forward together.

Until next week, my friends. ❤️
