What it Means to Believe in YOU
Is anyone else shocked that June is over? Like, where did it go? Because I have no idea.
With the Fourth of July coming up this week, I could have gone with an easy theme like “What Freedom Means to You,” but honestly, it wasn’t sitting right. Because all of these messages are about freedom.
So it felt like a get out of jail free card. I definitely could have written a heartfelt message, but I’ve never taken the easy route, and I’m not starting today soooo you’re welcome.
With that, something that inspires me when thinking about Independence Day is the dedication that our Founders had to their purpose. Their mission. Can you imagine believing in something so much that you break away from the country you were born in? Raised in?
Then, on top of that, you set out across the ocean with no guarantees and no idea what’s waiting for you on the other side. Can you imagine the amount of courage and belief those men and women had in themselves?
That blows my mind. So, that’s our theme for this week. How could you change your life by believing in yourself just 50% more? Even 25% more? What could you get done if there were nothing to hold you back?
If you adopted the mindset that our Founders had when it comes to fighting for something you believe in, I guarantee you that your life would change.
I think one thing that these Monday reflections are missing is what you can do to better adopt these shifts in mindset. So, below is a journal prompt you can use to explore this idea a little bit deeper. If you feel called to share what’s on your heart, I would LOVE to hear from you.
Journal Prompt: What would it look like to believe in your mission so fiercely that it overrides your fear? What if you trusted your calling more than your comfort zone? Where in your life are you being asked to take one bold step forward — not because it’s easy, but because it’s aligned with who you're becoming?
