Seasons of Change

Can you feel that? That’s the quiet promise that the best is yet to come.

Don’t get me wrong, there is merit in finding joy and happiness in the present, absolutely.

But there’s also something energetic about envisioning the impact that your future holds.

And I think there’s a careful balance of being excited for the future and yet, still living fully in the present moment.

I was recently on a call with a good friend, and she said something along the lines of, “I can see the big picture of where I want to be, but I don’t have all the pieces put together yet on how to get there.”

And I one hundred percent knew where she was at. Oftentimes, as highly driven, motivated women entrepreneurs, we don’t give ourselves enough credit for where we are. So when we find ourselves in what we think is a “slump”, we are actually laying the foundation for our next up-level, but also avoiding what we need to change to get there.

So that’s what I told her. Because here’s the thing…life is always changing, whether we are onboard with it or not.

True growth during that change is a choice.

So you can choose to hang on to the control you’re desperately grasping for, or you can let go and see what happens when you lean into the uncomfortability of change.

Maybe you are in a period of change, whether it be professionally or personally…I encourage you to find some quiet time this week and tune in. 5 minutes is all you need. Take time to listen to the change going on around you and find areas where you can grow.

Because that, my friends, is the only way forward.

If you’re going through a big change, let me know how I can support you, even if it’s just a coffee chat.

“If we don’t change, we don’t grow. If we don’t grow, we aren’t really living.”
